Impact 100 Southern Indiana is excited to announce its 2019 Grant Finalists. Many organizations applied for the $106,000 grant, proposing projects that would meet the Impact 100 mission of creating transformational change in Southern Indiana. The following finalists were determined through a member-led application review process. The finalists and their projects are:
Home of the Innocents. Proposed goal: to train therapists in evidence-based practices that create better outcomes for children and families and to build the capacity of their Southern Indiana office by upgrading IT infrastructure and purchasing family and sensorial-friendly furniture.
Hosparus. Proposed goal: to provide the Heart Connection Program, a successful program already being implemented elsewhere, to Southern Indiana women living with heart disease to reduce symptoms and improve quality of life.
Maker 13. Proposed goal: to create a new pathway for women-owned businesses and non-profits to train on innovative new technology and equipment and provide education and support to female-led small businesses.
The executive summaries of their grant proposals can be found here.
