Yes. Impact100 Southern Indiana is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Contributions are tax-deductible for the year in which they were made.

Yes, you can double your impact. We gratefully accept employer matching gifts. Donations matching your membership contribution play an important role, as they are applied toward program and operating costs. Please submit a matching request for your donation to your or your spouse’s employer. Some employers will also provide matching donations for retirees.
We welcome “Friends of Impact 100” and are thrilled when an individual or a foundation wants to help us through monetary donations or in-kind service donations. Although they do not provide voting rights, these donations help cover program and operating expenses that are essential to accomplishing our mission.
We understand that $1,000 represents a significant gift. It is designed that way. Impact 100 membership is meant to be a “stop & think” gift amount. We know for many members it is a budget decision and a sacrifice. We want each member to be thoughtful with her membership. We want our members to be intentional in their giving. That way, they will also think about – and be connected to – the transformational grants we make in the community, and the world. None of this would be possible without the gifts of each and every Impact 100 member.
Approximately one half of the women who join Impact 100 have never written a check to a single charity for $1,000 prior to joining Impact 100. (They may have written several small checks that may or may not have totaled that much) The other 50% of our members are what we call “Seasoned philanthropists.” These are women who have written a check this size (or more) in the past and choose to join Impact 100 based on the power of the model and the collaboration with other women in their community.
When newly minted philanthropists and seasoned philanthropists (and everything in between) come together to discuss a grant applicant, better decisions are made. The seasoned philanthropist sees the view from the mountain top. She knows what is working nationally and where the trends are in this work. The newly minted philanthropist understands the practical aspects of a solution including who the advocates may be and what the local barriers are. The resulting discussions are powerful for all involved. This diversity and the equal voice that is designed into the process makes for better decision making and stronger results.
Our members voices are EQUAL. Our mantra is: One WOMAN. $1,000 donation. One VOTE.
