Impact100 Raises $170,000 for 2026 Grants

Celebration was in the air at Covered Bridge Golf Club in Sellersburg, Indiana, as Impact100 Southern Indiana announced that it had raised $170,000 to fund two $85,000 grants to be awarded later this year to two nonprofit organizations serving Clark, Floyd, and/or Harrison counties.

The 2026 grant total of $170,000 matches the largest grant amount raised by Impact100 Southern Indiana to date and marks the third consecutive year that the organization will award two grants in a single year. Since its founding in 2017, this women-founded, women-led, and women-focused nonprofit has now raised more than $1.2 million in grant funding to support transformational projects throughout Southern Indiana.

Impact100’s model is simple but powerful: women contribute $1,000 each, and 100 percent of those contributions are combined into a grant fund that directly benefits local nonprofits. One hundred women create a $100,000 grant. This year, 170 women contributed $170,000. The women who invest in Impact100 also participate in the grant review process and vote to determine which nonprofit organizations receive funding.

Impact100 Southern Indiana awards grants in five focus areas: Arts & Culture, Education, Family, Health & Wellness, and Environment. Nonprofit applicants must propose projects that address unmet community needs within Clark, Floyd, and/or Harrison counties, create transformational impact, and can be completed within two years.

The Request for Proposal, Grant Application, and Submission Link are available on the Impact100 Southern Indiana website.

Following the grant review process, nonprofit finalists will be announced and Impact100 Southern Indiana members will have an opportunity to learn more about their proposed projects during the new Meet the Finalists event on Thursday, October 15, 2026. This event provides members with an opportunity to hear directly from the finalist organizations and learn about the transformational impact their projects could have on Southern Indiana.

The 2026 Big Give: Annual Awards Celebration will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026. During the event, nonprofit finalists will present brief overviews of their proposed projects, and Impact100 Southern Indiana members will vote to determine the grant recipients. At the conclusion of the evening, two $85,000 grants will be awarded, continuing the organization’s mission of empowering women to create lasting change in Southern Indiana.
